Not to worry, these aren’t sharp arrows, they have a giant squishy marshmallow on the end of them so they won’t hurt… too much! Your coach will start you off with a brief lesson on how to hold your bow and shoot your arrow. Once you are comfortable, you can let loose into the combat arena where you will play a dodgeball-like game of archery! Cool down afterwards at Playback bar where you can play some less physical games with your friends or try your hand at the escape room on-site!
The Difenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum

Looking for a really unique indoor activity? Why not come underground to see what it would be like to live under the earth’s surface! The Diefenbunker Museum is fun for the whole family. Take a guided or self-guided tour through the halls of this 100,000 square foot bunker commissioned by Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. The purpose of the bunker was to protect important members of the government and military in the event of a nuclear attack on Canada. You will even get to see John’s bedroom and the CBC broadcasting room!
HI Ottawa Jail Hostel
75 Nicholas St, Ottawa
It doesn’t get more interesting than spending the night in a former jail cell. This historic building downtown Ottawa used to house inmates including the famous Patrick Whelan who was hanged on site. This cozy hostel has all the amenities of home all at an affordable price! Featuring traditional hostel rooms with multiple beds, private rooms with double beds, or an authentic jail cell, you can choose your own comfort level for sleeping. Just watch out for old Patrick at the end of your bed, it has been reported that he still haunts the jail at night. Would you dare sleep here?
