Looking for a really unique indoor activity? Why not come underground to see what it would be like to live under the earth’s surface! The Diefenbunker Museum is fun for the whole family. Take a guided or self-guided tour through the halls of this 100,000 square foot bunker commissioned by Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. The purpose of the bunker was to protect important members of the government and military in the event of a nuclear attack on Canada. You will even get to see John’s bedroom and the CBC broadcasting room!
